Studio Team Member

The Studio Team role is aimed at candidates who wish to be involved in all areas of Inscape. The role involves welcoming and engaging studio guests, facilitating meditation sessions, maintaining a clean and orderly space, selling products and services, and making sure the studio is a friendly, engaging environment for anyone who enters.

Enthusiasm, excellent customer service, strong retail experience, and flexibility are key. The ideal candidate loves being involved with customers, is a thoughtful and energetic team player with a positive attitude, and takes initiative to ensure the studio runs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meditation & relaxation sessions: This includes creating a welcoming space for all guests, hosting the session, demonstrating movement & breathing exercises, maintaining a calm environment and offering guidance and support for a guest’s mediation practice.
  • Front of house: Welcome and check guests into sessions, overseeing all guest accounts, notes, purchases, etc.
  • Uphold impeccable customer services standards; anticipating guests needs and going above and beyond to deliver.
  • Drive sales of products and services in alignment with company sales goals. Be knowledgeable about products, programs and pricing and actively promote to all visitors.
  • Take active ownership of the space. Maintain a pristine and welcoming studio aesthetic: clean and organize common areas, studio rooms, and restrooms.

Requirements:

  • Strong daily meditation practice, interest in promoting health and wellness, any teaching experience will be a plus.
  • Boutique fitness/ yoga studio and/or retail experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience resolving employee and/or customer conflicts in a positive, professional and timely manner.
  • Ability to represent all facets of the company and contribute to a sense of team camaraderie and inspiration.
  • Critical eye to maintain high aesthetic standards.
  • Strong team player who demonstrates flexibility, punctuality and can respond quickly and effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient knowledge on how to use MindBodyOnline is a plus.

Office Coordinator

This role of Office Coordinator supports the Founder & CEO, and the company’s department heads. The ideal candidate is has experience working in a start up in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Founder & CEO
    • Manage travel arrangements: this includes creating itineraries, meeting set-up, planning, lodging, meals, etc.
    • Research various topics & summarize in easily viewable, quickly digestible formats
  • Office administration & Support to senior management
    • Expense reports & tracking budgets
    • Manage project timelines
    • Liaise with vendors and external agencies
    • Maintain inspiration boards
    • Conduct regular industry news monitoring & competitor research
  • Retail Operations
    • Create weekly reports and review performance as well as inventory supplies
    • Manage vendor relations and negotiating terms
    • Managing inventory retail processes such as creating purchase orders, receiving the items in our PoS, inventory, adjustment inventory for markdowns.

This role includes growth opportunity to lead and a manage our internal retail processes.

Requirements:

  • Recent Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bright, engaging, and resourceful; poised under pressure.
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
  • Strong analytical skills background and advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Outlook calendar management and Word).
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Given little to no direction, will explore and determine a method for accomplishing objectives.

Marketing Manager

We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to build our brand and support the growth of INSCAPE for our studio and app businesses. The ideal candidate is experienced in hands-on implementation and support of various marketing programs across a variety of channels including brand, email, digital advertising (sem, paid social), SEO, experiential, and more. This role will be responsible for building out marketing strategy, roadmap, community events and brand synergies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive new user acquisition and retention for our flagship Flatiron studio.
  • Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between guests, boost traffic and drive acquisition.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns including newsletters and promotions.
  • Manage calendar of weekly and monthly educational, guest appreciation and lead generating events with outside speakers and brand partners.
  • Develop localized partnerships with complementary wellness and lifestyle brands to co-market / drive new acquisition.
  • Partner with Head of Studio and buyer to disseminate product knowledge to sales team; negotiate buying terms and co-op marketing, so as to grow retail revenue; align retail promotions with overall marketing calendar.
  • Manage the development of creative assets for sales collateral, website, email marketing, and more.
  • Oversee acquisition marketing performance (including SEM, SEO and Paid Social) working closely with partners for execution.
  • Track and maintain budgets, optimizing for efficiency and ROI.
  • Analyze performance metrics and develop comprehensive reporting on marketing growth and sales.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in a marketing role ideally at a recognized wellness brand, agency, consumer business or startup.
  • Background in community building, events and partnership management.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and analytics platforms like Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in management of SEM, SEO, paid social, display, retargeting and mobile advertising platforms.
  • Analytical and data-driven with a technical knowledge of data analysis, marketing automation and optimization (including a/b testing), a major plus
  • Proven experience in managing productivity, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and a genuine desire to learn new skills.
  • Love for all things marketing and technology; you continuously pursue knowledge and stay on top of trends.
  • Business, Marketing, Communications or related degree.
  • Experience in the lifestyle or wellness space a huge plus, but not required.

Director of Sales

The Director of Sales will drive revenue through maximizing private event sales for both corporations and individuals. The Director will focus on outreach, with attention given to providing an unparalleled and unique customer-centric experience within our newly launched studio. The role will also focus on retention and referrals; rebooking strategies; and facility and equipment rentals. Success in this role will be dependent on networking, solicitation and grassroots tactics, coupled with a positive attitude and excitement for modern wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new business by contacting potential clients and creating synergistic relationships with like-minded brands
  • Executing outbound sales calls to drive awareness; instituting lead-generation strategies; identifying and pursuing target markets by monitoring venue and community demographics and best practices
  • Represent the company at networking events and host networking / prospecting events on-site
  • Create unique proposals and activations tailored to clients’ needs
  • Manage payment and logistics for all events
  • Monitor and project event revenue; achieve set revenue goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and six years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in hospitality industry

  • High EQ and people skills
  • Interest in modern wellness preferred
